Magnitudes of Spell Effects
One problem I have with the ArM3 sourcebook is the content of the spell lists. There are far too many specific spells and too few examples of general spell effects, making it difficult to assess the levels of spontaneous or invented spells. The 4th edition sought to solve this problem but I'm not satisfied with the results. I've begun writing my own guidelines to spell effects, relecting my own personal take on Hermetic Magic.
The lists are organized by Form, and currently consist of only two Forms, Mentem and Imaginem. More to come when I have the time.
